Where is the airport in Montenegro?

Montenegro has two international airports:

  1. Podgorica Airport (IATA code: TGD): Podgorica Airport is located in the capital city of Podgorica, in the central part of Montenegro. It is approximately 11 kilometers (7 miles) south of the city center. Podgorica Airport serves as a major gateway to Montenegro and offers both domestic and international flights.
  2. Tivat Airport (IATA code: TIV): Tivat Airport is situated near the coastal town of Tivat, in the Bay of Kotor region of Montenegro. It is around 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) south of Tivat’s city center. Tivat Airport primarily serves as a hub for tourists visiting the popular coastal destinations, such as Kotor, Budva, and Herceg Novi.

Both airports have modern facilities, including car rental services, shops, cafes, and transportation options to various parts of Montenegro. They are well-connected to major cities in Europe and other international destinations, making them convenient entry points for travelers visiting Montenegro.
